June 2025 update

Taylor Wimpey is holding an in-person public exhibition on: Tuesday 17 June 2025, 3:30pm - 7:30pm at the Seth Ward Community Centre, Luynes Rise, Buntingford, SG9 9SG.

The event is open to the general public, so please do feel free to drop in at any time.

Timeline of hybrid planning application process

In January 2025, East Herts District Council’s Planning Committee resolved to approve a hybrid planning application for the site subject to agreement with the S106 agreement. This includes:

  • Full planning permission for a brand-new medical centre, including access and sustainable drainage.

  • Outline planning permission for around 200 new homes, including:

    • 40% affordable housing

    • Self and custom-build homes

    • New open spaces, walking and cycling routes, and supporting infrastructure.

While we are waiting for final planning permission to be confirmed—once the legal Section 106 agreement is signed—we are preparing the Reserved Matters application, which will provide detailed designs for the site.
